Hi Kids!  Just thought you'd like to know a little about the mastermind behind the hilarity... well here goes.  I live in a little town called Roxboro ... hence the comic title ... with my wife Misty and Daughter Charlotte.  It's kinda boring here and with the recent loss of my job I have had a lot of free time on my hands.  I started to formulate the idea of doing a web comic after reading Real Life, RPG World, Penny Arcade, Megatokyo, Clan of The Cats, and The Adventurers.  I really admired these artists and figured I'd try my hand at it.  I used to be pretty good in art so I started drawing things and well... I sucked... bad... some day I'll post those initial sketches if they don't somehow find their way to a fireplace.  So I started doing the writing of scripts I got 50 done before I even drew a character.  I then decided I needed help to get motivated so I applied for my Keenspace site.  Then I got Adobe Illustrator 10 and started to trace pictures to figure out how the program worked.  It didn't take me long to get decent at it so with my trusty trackball I started to make a head.  My first few attempts blew so I tried a different approach I drew a circle and added points on to it moving them one at a time and voila! Misty's head was created :)  the rest came pretty easy and I used her head to create every other head in the comic.  I suck at drawing hands and legs so if I make a good one I try to reuse it as much as possible but I have been working on perfecting that area when I have the time.  I tried to have a bunch done before the launch date but that just didn't happen turns out I am only able to keep afloat on about two strips.  Now I'm swamped with website changes but since I took that little hiatus I was able to get them into the schedule.  So now I'm getting where I want to be as far as the site goes except for the lower sections.  I can't quite figure out how to make a decent border for those sections oh well I'll figure it out someday.
